This year's house marks the 4th house built by the Effingham County High School chapter of our Affiliate. The house is being built under the guidance of Kenny Lay who has served as the construction teacher for the school for over 10 years.

This year's house is a special house in that it is being built and financed by not just the Habitat chapter, and the construction class, but also by the rest of the school system. The reason for this is that it is being built in partnership with one of the employees of the school.
