Come join us as we gather as God’s children working together to make “loving our neighbor” a reality.

Materials to build this house are not free. the youth at Ephesus Church will have a fundraiser in support of the Christ Build house.
The yard sale will be held on
Saturday, March 14

in front of the house. You can take your donations to Ephesus Church the week prior to the yard sale.

on Goshen Rd. in Rincon, GA

More than a few Christians have expressed an interest in partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build a home with a local family in need. One church has already pledged $10,000 and has also expressed a willingness to host other events in support of the effort.

Did you know there are 74 registered churches in Effingham County? There are over 60,000 residents who live in our beautiful county. Did you know that we have a large population of families who are living with their friends or relatives because they are unable to secure affordable housing? Can God use your church in this area?

We have met twice with representatives from area churches. These representatives have named the project, “The House Christ Built”. There is hope to have more churches in the area involved in this project soon.

To begin planning for this project, we are requesting area churches make a commitment by May 15. As money is collected, we will see the mercury in our thermometer climb.

Does your church have individuals who want to be involved but do not feel comfortable using a hammer and power saw? There are other ways to help us with this project:

U    Pray for our efforts.

U    Help find affordable land on which we can build the house.

U    Help with planning and coordinating the entire campaign.

U    Provide water and lunch for our volunteers.

U    Baby sit for our partner family while they work at the build site.

U    Assist with fundraising.
