ECHS Campus Build
ECHS House Completed in Shawdowbrook Subdivision
The Wallace family moved into their new home on August 1, 2012.
Kelwanda Wallace is a single mother of two sons – Kelton and Keldrick. Their mobile home was lost in a fire and she and her boys had been living with here parents. Her home was started by the campus chapter at ECHS.
The student chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Effingham County at Effingham County High School has built five Habitat houses on the campus sponsored in part by Georgia Pacific. This is done in conjunction with the construction classes offer by the school. Habitat construction supervisor volunteers assist with the training. Additional volunteers assist the students on our Saturday workdays as needed.
