The board of directors and staff of Habitat for Humanity are proud to announce plans to build a home for a local military veteran. This is our community’s opportunity to help and thank a veteran who has served our nation and protected our freedoms.

The house will be built to meet the needs of the veteran’s family and will comply with ADA standards. Since 9/11, over 33,000 men and women have been injured while on duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Habitat volunteers plan to break ground in  2013 and finish four months later.
