First Veterans Home Repair Project Complete

Our first Critical Home Repair for Veterans Project is complete. We began this project on November 11 and completed everything just before New Years Day. We have a very greatful veteran as a result of this effort.

This project was sponsored and funded by the Home Depot Foundation and the Home Depot Repair Corp.

We are looking for other canditates in Effingham County for this effort.

Wilson Fire Damage Repair Complete

We have completed the repairs on the Wilson Home which was damaged by fire late last year. We would like to thank the community for supporting us in this effort. Without community envolvement we cannot respond to the crisis situatiions for families in our county. We still need cash donations for this project to pay for the dump fees now that the debris from the fire clean-up and construction has been hauled away.

House Move from ECHS to Shadowbrook

We have scheduled the house move from ECHS to the one of our lots in the Shadowbrook Subdivision for November 23. Braswell Brothers will load on Tuesday, November 22, and move the house on Wednesday. First Critical Home Repair For A Veteran

Shadowbrook Lots Cleared

Jeffrey Hardin of HARCO has completed the clearing of all four lots in the Shadowbrook Subdivision for Habitat.

Our next step is to layout the lot and put in the footers for the ECHS Campus Build House for the Wallace family. We would like to get the house moved during the Thanksgiving Break at the High School.

We are still trying to raise the $4,000 required to move the house. The Cruise Raffle proceeds are desiginated for this project. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Restore or from any Board member.
